A mob of 150 men, mostly religious students, attacked six suspected brothels on the outskirts of the capital. Two buildings were burned. The police showed up and arrested 41 members of the mob. Prostitution is illegal, but generally tolerated. But the increasing numbers of religious students are not afraid of challenging the police (with rock throwing mobs.)
