 Despite thorough searches of Moslem religious boarding schools and questioning of many Moslem clerics, the nation's highest Islamic authority has condemned the Bali bombing and called for the most severe punishment of whoever was possible. Many Indonesians still believe the bombing was some kind of foreign plot to get Indonesia involved in the war on terrorism.
