In the Malukus, several months of peace were broken when someone threw a bomb at bus in the provincial capital. A mob quickly formed and went after people they thought responsible. Two were injured, no arrests were made. Islamic radical militiamen remain in the Malukus, but are closely watched by soldiers and police.
