Over the weekend, religious violence in the largely Christian Maluku islands. At least 22 have died and over a hundred wounded. Islamic radicals have been organizing militias to insure Moslem domination in the area. This has led to a revival of the Maluku separatist movement, which is thought to be the main source of the recent violence.
