The Iraqi state airline announced that 24 pilots and 14 aircraft technicians had undergone three month training courses provided by Airbus Industries (which has promised to deliver aircraft, ordered in 1989, as soon as sanctions are lifted.) The training took place in Jordan and Malaysia.
