A Chinese company building a mobile phone system in Iraq, and accused (by the US) of helping to rebuild Iraq's air defense communications system) had suddenly pulled out of Iraq. The United States has complained to China about Chinese companies (some with government connections) illegally assisting in the rebuilding of Iraqi air defenses.
