While coalition warplanes don't bomb Iraqi air defenses every day, the Iraqis have been firing on coalition aircraft almost daily. So far this year, there have been 95 days where coalition aircraft were in the air over the northern no-fly zone. On 75 of those days, the Iraqis fired on coalition warplanes. Coalition aircraft responded with bombing on 15 times.
