The Jordanian national police have finished training 106 Iraqi police instructors (who will run training programs in Iraq.) Jordan is also taking 1,500 Iraqi police recruits at a time for an eight week training course. In all, Jordan will train some 32,000 Iraqis for police work over the next two years. The Iraqi national police are among the most efficient and least corrupt in the Arab world.
