Israeli artillery attacked Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon after Hezbollah rockets landed near the Israeli border in South Lebanon. Hezbollah says it will not let up on attacks on Israel unless all Lebanese prisoners are released, reparations are paid for damage done in Lebanon, and something is done for the 350,000 Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. Since these conditions are unlikely to be met, the border war will go on even after Israel moves out of southern Lebanon.
