The Lebanese army has moved into the former Israeli zone of south Lebanon. The Lebanese are establishing checkpoints and attempting to gain control of the area before the various militias do so. It has been quiet in the area, with Hezbollah trying to recast itself as a political party. But Hezbollah has pointedly refused to disarm any of its troops.
