Israeli officials have released a study showing that the cancellation of the Israeli sale of the Phalcon radar to China will encourage China to sell more weapons to Arab countries in the Middle East. Israel rejects US claims that the Phalcon radar plane would have altered the balance of power in Asia, insisting that the US really wanted to sell its own AWACS planes to China.--Stephen V Cole
