As part of its negotiations with the new Palestinian government, Israel freed 500 Palestinian terrorists, or terrorism suspects, from jail. Another 400 will be freed in the next few months, depending on how the negotiations go. Prisoners do not include anyone involved in an attack that killed Israelis.
