The army has formed a 2,000 man task force in the capital to deal with a rumored attempt by Estrada supporters to free the former president. Despite his record of corruption, former movie star Estrada is still enormously popular with his fans. There have been some demonstrations in favor of Estrada already, and more eager Estrada fans are entering the capital. Meanwhile, a grenade was thrown in a capital mall, wounding 32.  In the east, 50 NPA rebels attacked a four man police post. Weapons were looted from the post, but two rebels were killed. No policemen were hurt.
