MILF rebels violated the ceasefire again by firing mortar shells at a southern town. The army responded with a helicopter gunship. The MILF and the government have agreed to deal with these violations one at a time as they are usually the result of undisciplined rebel commanders acting on their own. These "Lost Commands" were not a problem for the rebels before the cease fire. The Lost Commands attacks on the army and Christian civilians suited the MILFs purpose. But the inability to control these freebooters is becoming a problem, especially as it is becoming known how many of these freelancers are out there. Also in the south, three died when a bomb went off in a southern bus terminal.
