In Grozny, a suicide bomber drove a car full of explosives next to a military position, detonated the explosives, and killed himself and four Russian soldiers. Five other soldiers were injured. Overnight, rebels made at least 20 hit and run attacks on Russian positions, mainly checkpoints. Eleven of the attacks were in Grozny. Several soldiers were wounded.
