In another incident of violence in the military, a fight between drunken troops in the capital left three soldiers shot to death. The military says some 1,800 troops are killed in such incidents and accidents. Anti-conscription organizations say the number of dead is twice as high. Even the low number is a much higher rate of peacetime deaths than found in Western armed forces.
