In Chechnya, five soldiers were wounded when a bomb went off in Grozny. The soldiers had found the rebel bomb and were in the process of trying to dismantle it. Russian military engineers have developed better equipment and techniques for finding and dealing with rebel roadside bombs. Thus there are far fewer casualties from these weapons this year.
