For two days, police surrounded several Islamic militants in an apartment house in the Caucasus province of Kabardino-Balkaria. When police attacked, they killed three militants, and four women and children. So far this month, police have raided three Islamic militant groups in the Caucasus. Islamic militants are getting out of  Chechnya, where pro-Russian Chechen police have a created a hostile atmosphere for Islamic militants.
