Police in Siberia seized a cache of 770 hand grenades and about 900 fuzes for the grenades. Eight years ago, a major ammunition depot in Siberia caught fire, and thousands of tons of ammo burned and exploded. But hundreds of tons of stuff (grenades, shells, bulk explosives) where blown clear of the area. For years, local civilians have been collecting this stuff, and selling it to criminals. Police continue to chase after the buyers and sellers before this military grade ammo can get into circulation. So far this year, local police have seized a thousand hand grenades, five artillery shells, about 90 pounds of explosives  and over  a thousand  fuzes.
