  In Dagestan, next to Chechnya, Islamic terrorists calling themselves the Shariat Islamic Djamaat of Dagestan, said it would now murder the families of policemen, in revenge for the recent killing of their leader, Rasul Makasharipov. While Islamic terrorists are losing ground in Chechnya, where most Chechens are  fed up with Islamic radicalism, there are still some enthusiastic Islamic radicals in Dagestan next door. Not many of them, but it only takes a few hundred armed and suicidal men to cause a lot of trouble.
