Rwanda: May 29, 2004


FNL rebels clashed with army patrols south of the Burundi capital over the last few days, leaving 12 rebels and one soldier dead. The army is more aggressively patrolling areas where the FNL camps are, in order to make life more uncomfortable for the rebels and encourage them to surrender.
