Heres an incident that appears to be confirmed by all parties involved, which is rare for Darfur state. The SLM said it freed on July 22 a high-ranking Sudan Air Force officer who was captured in April. Sudans governor of North Darfur appears to have confirmed the officers release. The officer was captured April 25 in an attack on the town of Al-Facher.
