On February 9 the LRA ambushed a Red Cross vehicle outside of Kitgum and wounded six Red Cross workers. On February 10 the Ugandan government reported a major firefight in north Uganda between the UPDF and the LRA. At least three LRA thugs died in the firefight near the village of Loya Ajonga. One Ugandan Army soldier was reported wounded.
