NBC Weapons: January 31, 2002


South Korea is creating a new command center to deal with chemical or biological attacks. This will take over the two Army battalions, the Chemical Defense Research Institute, and the small units in the Air Force and Navy. The command will report to the Ministry of Defense; current chemical units report to the Joint chiefs.--Stephen V Cole
