The US appears to have agreed to allow Israel to sell the Green Pine fire control radar (used for the Arrow-2 anti-missile interceptor) to India. The US is still opposed to the sale of two Israeli Phalcon radar planes to India, and the Israelis again are insisting that the US is more concerned about the sale of its own AWACS planes and fears that if Israel finds a customer for Phalcon, the US will face too much competition for future sales.--Stephen V Cole
