June 17,2008: American diplomats have gone public with their complaints about Kuwaitis providing large amounts of cash for Islamic terrorists. For years, complaints were made quietly, to little effect. While less than a hundred of the 5-10,000 foreign Islamic terrorists in Iraq, have been Kuwaitis, over five percent of the cash received by the terrorists has come from Sunni Kuwaitis, who do not like to have the Shia majority running Iraq. The Kuwaitis have refused to crack down on these wealthy Kuwaitis, feeling that it would cause too much internal strife. Besides, the money was only going to kill mostly Iraqis (and some Americans, which is regrettable, but is why U.S. diplomats are now openly pestering the Kuwaiti government about this.)
