September 4, 2010: Counter-terrorism personnel have discovered that Islamic terrorists get a lot of their ideas from Western films and TV shows. This insight was picked up by monitoring terrorist chatter (phone calls, Internet email, chat rooms and message boards, and paper based mail). This chatter includes both publicly available and secret communications. The intelligence analysts compared the chatter with actual attacks, or attempts. The terrorists were definitely inspired by show biz takes on schemes terrorists or criminals would (according to script writers) attempt. This explains some of the lame ideas Islamic terrorists have come up with.
