Islamic fundamentalists attacked an army camp, and when reinforcements showed up, they were ambushed with several bombs. Eight soldiers were killed and several more wounded. An unknown number of fundamentalists were also injured. There were two other attacks on army bases, leaving a total of ten soldiers dead and 13 wounded. Bombs have become a favorite weapon of the fundamentalists.
