The GSPC announced that they have selected a new leaderm Abou Mossab Abdelwadoud. He replaces Nabil Sahraoui, who was killed by the army last June. Sahraoui replaced a leadership crew that was captured in Chad earlier this year. The GSPC has undergone changes in leadership every few months for the last year. Abdelwadoud was known as an expert bomb maker, and has been a terrorist since 1998.
