Two policemen were arrested for complicity in a people smuggling operation that resulted in the death of at least 350 people when their smuggling boat (on it's way to Australia) sank. The breakdown in government throughout Indonesia has led to a lot of illegal activity involving police and government officials. This is also leading to increased separatism, with the central government fearful that they will not be able to control this movement.
