The bomb that killed over 200 people in Bali apparently consisted of 110-330 pounds of fertilizer material (ammonium nitrate) and a much smaller quantity of C4 plastic explosive (to ignite the entire bomb). Last year, Singapore police arrested 13 terrorists who were trying to buy 17 tons of ammonium nitrate to make seven truck bombs. It is thought that Islamic terrorists in Indonesia are continuing along these lines.
