An 19 year old Israeli soldier went to an Arab-Israeli, opened fire with his rifle, and killed four Israeli Arabs, and wounded four others. Police arrested the soldier, but an angry  crowd seized the soldier and killed him. The Israeli soldier had just recently joined the army, but after a few weeks decided he could not serve (because of opposition to removal of Israeli settlers from Palestinian areas), and deserted. The soldier belonged to an Israeli group that believes all Arabs should be expelled from Israel and the Palestinian territories.
