Korea: July 14, 2004


A North Korean patrol boat entered South Korean waters off the west coast. South Korean warships intercepted it. The North Korean ship ignored radio and load speaker orders to turn around, and responded only when shots were fired across its bow. Later, the North Koreans denied that the incident had even occurred.
