Russia will build a satellite launch facility in South Korea. South Korea will manufacture satellite launch rockets using Russian designs. Russia is trying to find alternatives for its old Soviet era launch center in the now independent country of Kazakhstan. Russia and South Korea have developed growing trade relations since the end of the Cold War.
