Archives

October 31, 2007: The terrorist murders continue in the south, with nine in the past week. Police down there point out that some of these killing are personal disputes, and would have happened without Islamic terrorists running about. Meanwhile, the army is increasing its 30,000 man garrison in the south. The troops man roadblocks and conducts searches in rural areas, when police have information of a terrorist camp being somewhere out there. The army is sending another thousand troops south. With more leads coming in, there are more rural searches to conduct.

Bombings continue, with ten bombs going off down south recently. Five of them were in bars, which the Islamic terrorists are particularly hostile to. The bombs were not large, mostly ten pounds or less, and caused few casualties. It's not known if the Islamic terrorists are doing this because they lack explosives for larger bombs, or because they realize that killing lots of civilians with bombs will simply turn more local civilians against them. Little bombs terrorize, but don't antagonize
