The Ugandan government said that LRA thugs killed 13 people in northern Uganda. The government statement said the LRA "bludgeoned"
the civilians to death in Lira district. A western press source said that meant the LRA thugs clubbed the civilians to death. Several of the victims were found with their hands tied behind their backs.
