Jordanian authorities said that the 14 arrested terrorist suspects had confessed to working for Al-Qa'eda (bin Laden's "Base" organization) and to building bombs and other weapons for terrorist attacks. The 14 have been charged with 11 crimes; another 13 suspects are still at large and will be tried in absentia. All face the death penalty but this is unlikely to be imposed.--Stephen V
