Terrorism: October 17, 2003

Archives

The Saudi Arabian government continues to issue warnings of possible attacks on specific targets. In the most recent case, tenants of the recently built (in the capital) Al Faisaliah and Kingdom Towers complexes were warned of possible attack. As a result, some of the commercial tenants in these complexes shut down operations. Saudi police are arresting new terrorism suspects every week, and continue to interrogate the thousands that they have already taken into custody. American FBI and CIA agents are working with the Saudis, trading information and trying to assemble a more complete picture of Islamic terrorist operations in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere.
