Macedonias Gypsy (Roma) community says that it will work with the Macedonian government to battle the ethnic Albanian NLA. The key Macedonian Gypsy political organization is the National Union of the Roma in Macedonia (SRM). A recent SRM press release said that Macedonias Gypsies oppose terrorists the Skopje codeword for ethnic Albanian rebels. The Roma community in Macedonia isnt large an estimated 60,000 to 65,000 people.
