France and Great Britain have produced an EU force plan for Bosnia. The key element to the plan is that the EU force must be as strong as the NATO SFOR force it replaces. One report noted that at the moment 85 percent of SFOR troops come from EU contingents. On February 24, the Bosnian government requested that some US troops remain in Bosnia. It appears Bosnians dont quite trust a pure EU force.
