Colombia wants to buy 24 light combat aircraft to replace the Vietnam-era OV-10A Broncos and A-37B Dragonflys in service. Deliveries are expected to be eight aircraft per year starting in 2003. The Colombians have set aside $235 million for this purchase. The Colombians want new aircraft as they expect to keep them in service for 25 years.--Stephen V Cole
