India and Myanmar have agreed to a joint drive to destroy base camps in northern Myanmar used by Assamese and Naga rebels fighting against the Indian government. Myanmar troops are attacking the bases while Indian troops seal the border to keep the rebels from crossing it to avoid the assault. --Stephen V Cole
