While religious conservative still control many police and army organizations, and courts that can overrule the other courts and elected legislature, the religious groups are rapidly losing popularity. There are increasing incidents of open disrespect for the religious groups, an attitude that has been increasingly apparent in elections over the past five years. Some of the conservatives are willing to lighten up, but many are not and this provides the potential for civil war.
