In what many consider a planned leak (to get the Iranians to back off on their nuclear weapons program), a German magazine reported that Israel was planning an air strike against six Iranian locations suspected as participating in developing nuclear weapons. The stories also contained details of the long suspected cruise missiles carried by Israeli submarines. The missiles can be equipped with nuclear warheads. Israeli F-16s would have to fly some 1,300 kilometers to hit Iranian targets. The Israeli air force considers this possible using in-flight refueling and the inability, or unwillingness, of Arab governments to interfere. Arabs don't like the idea of Iran having nukes
