In the southern Philippines, ten gunmen rounded up 22 teen age students and two adults, and drove away with them. Police are not sure if this was a terrorist act, or a criminal ones. It's often hard to tell. Earlier, a similar group of gunmen had fired on a truck, killing two and wounding three. The police eventually caught up with the gunmen and the kidnapped students. One policeman was killed, as the hostages were freed. But the gunmen got away.
