Americans have been warned of the "credible" possibility of anti-American terrorist acts in Korea and Japan. There are over 200,000 Americans (military and civilian) in those two nations. Such terrorism warnings are rare in Japan. Both nations are very homogenous culturally and outsiders are easy to spot. The US government did not provide any details for these warnings.
