The U.S. has approved the sale of six C-130 transports to Pakistan. Each aircraft will cost $12.5 million. America is still refusing to sell high performance warplanes to Pakistan, but is willing to supply helicopters and transports. This sale will increase Pakistan's fleet of C-130s to 16 aircraft. Pakistan typically uses its C-130s for humanitarian as well as military missions.
