The US Air Force has begun to receive the improved CBU-97 Sensor Fuzed Weapon cluster munitions, which are more accurate and lethal than the original version and can cover a wider area. The USAF plans to buy 2,300 of these and link them to Wind Corrected Munition Dispensers.--Stephen V Cole
