Ireland has ordered a second batch of 25 Piranha 8x8 armored personnel carriers for use primarily by peacekeeping units. The order includes 20 APCs, four command vehicles, and an ambulance. (The first order was for 34 vehicles.) Ireland still needs another dozen or so of these vehicles to complete a previously-announced restructuring program. --Stephen V Cole
