Fifteen robotic and remotely controlled air and land vehicle types were used in Iraq. These included the Global Hawk, Pointer, Shadow, Desert Hawk, Hunter, Phoenix, Predator, Silver Fox, Dragon Eye, Pioneer and Remus UAV (Uninhabited Aerial Vehicles.) In the next year, some of these systems will disappear because of their performance, while others will appear more frequently, and in improved versions.
